About the Festival
Unicoi Lodge, Helen Arts & Heritage Center Hardman Farm Historic Site, and Sautee Nacoochee Center are partnering to create the 2020 WinterFest Arts & Coach Tour. This festival will include 145 artists, over 2 days, in 4 locations, for 1 ticket price.
Free parking is available at Unicoi State Park and Lodge and Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center.
Watch live art demonstrations throughout the two-day festival as artists actively create and bring to life new and exciting pieces. Pottery, painting, jewelry, fused glass, fiber art are just a few of the types of artwork that will be available at the festivals. Guests may register for drawings held throughout the weekend at each location for opportunities to win original art and fine craft prizes, all donated by participating artisans.
Hop on/Hop Off Coach Service is offered on both days, Saturday and Sunday, connecting the four venues. Transportation will leave from all four venues and will include stops at Unicoi State Park & Lodge, Helen Arts & Heritage Center, the Sautee Nacoochee Center and Hardman Farm Historic Site. Hop-On and see the sights of Unicoi State Park, the City of Helen, and the Sautee Nacoochee Historic District. Hop-Off and experience the 145 artists and craftsmen demonstrating and selling unique art representing the North Georgia Appalachian Foothills.
There is no charge for the festival at each venue, but a multi-part ticket and wristband is needed to ride the coach to each venue. A combination transportation and raffle ticket is good for both days. When the ticket is stamped at each of the four locations, the ticket holder will be eligible to enter a raffle for grand prizes offered by each venue. Each venue will sell additional raffle tickets for regional artists’ prizes.
